We’re a fully functional livestock farm that’ll keep you as busy as you’d like to be on your holiday. Guests are welcome to participate in farming operations were possible, whether its joining in the morning rounds of the pastures to check on the livestock or changing a camp up the mountain.
Greg enjoys it when guests participate in farm activities, so you might catch a bike or bakkie ride to wherever he’s going and lend a hand in whatever the task is.
Some guests just love getting stuck into helping us with fixing up the Mill or tweaking our tractors! If you’ve got children then watching the morning milking is a must!
Lambing seasons are in mid-March to mid-April, and also in October whilst kidding takes place in August.
If you’d like to see what shearing all about, we shear our Angora goats in early May and early November, and our sheep in March, July and November
If you’d like to sleep in a bit (because you ARE mos on holiday!) perhaps you’d like one of our children to collect your children to take on a morning tour to see the milking, feed the chickens and check on the kids and lambs?
